Teamdesertaxi

Teamdesertaxi is awa’, but you can keep track of them through their occasional updates on the website:

Ed got us off to a flying start by rearending a Renault in the Folkestone passport queue. …

Stopping in Salzburg for lunch. 2 broken door hinges, 1 broken indicator, 1 broken electric window. 795 miles. …

A navigational error led to a brief sojourn in Slovakia. …

Both the charities they are supporting, MercyCorps Mongolia and Help for Heroes, get the Cusack two-thumbs-up, so perhaps you might think of making a little donation? Every bit counts.

A brief tour of the London cab that’s going to Mongolia.

An interview with Andrew Actman of Lenham Sports Cars
on the car’s prospect of making it to Ulaanbaatar.

Apologies, meant to post here and not at other site:

For a similarly wild journey, and some possible tips, do see the (almost) daily texts and many photographs from a journey undertaken by Dr.Martin and Francesca Bercetche from May 29 to August 26 2006 to cover the 12,400 miles from Greenwich, CT, to Buenos Aires, Argentina in a diminutive Renault Kangoo van.
Aside from the opening page in Spanish, most is in English, along with frequent comments from friends who followed the blog daily.
